Oh my goodness! The smell of sweet bread baking will bring any one home! Banana bread I think is my favorite sweet bread to eat and in the dead of the winter it can make you feel good all over.
You can always have bananas on hand for banana recipes if you just throw overly ripe bananas that no one is going to eat in the freezer. All you have to do is take them out to thaw an hour or so before
you need them.

1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 envelope dream whip (it's a powdered whipping cream)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. olive oil
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sour cream
4 ripe bananas
Mix first 5 ingredients together and set aside.

Baking Powder.....
Baking Soda.....
Stir to blend well and set aside......
Place the rest of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and blend until creamy.
White Sugar.....

Blend well......
Blend well again...
Add flour mixture and beat until well incorporated.
Remove from oven and let sit in pans for 5 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack.
Let cool completely, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready
to serve.
Call the kids in, large and small, and enjoy a treat together. I'm pretty sure your bread won't get a chance to cool AND you won't really have to "call" any one in to eat it because
they'll be there already!

This is so cool nancy. Do you take all the pictures? I remember. There was a cooking magazine I really liked looking at when I was there with you guys. It wasn't by one of the famous tv ladies. Do you remember. Can you tell me her name ?
Kent used to take them (he too great picture) but since he isn't here most of the time that I need pictures taken, I have learned to take them myself. As for the magazine it would have to be either Paula Deen or Semi-homemade with Sandra Lee. Thanks for visiting my blog, that means a lot!
